Like many others here on this lovely forum, i downloaded PES 2011 EUR version only to find out that there was no english language.
According to developers at Konami, only the English version will be in English as this is to prevent imports due to the fact that its out in Europe a week before the UK.
Also you have to be logged on to PSN to be able to download the Konami updates which would get you banned because of your hacked PS3.
This meant that we were stuck with missing transfers such as Ibrahimovic, Robinho and many others and outdated formations for different teams.
SO after searching and trial and error, i finally found a way to update it.
English language:

Just extract both files and copy them over to: GAMEZ\BLES01022\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\ of your Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 game directory.
DLC update
To update your PES to latest VER 1.01, DATA PACK 1.01, u need to do the following:
1. Download the following package, and copy it to the root of your external hardrive:

3. Copy the dt0f.img file from the BLES01022_DOWNLOAD folder to the GAMEZ\BLES01022\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\ folder (back up the original one first)
4. Create the following directory on your external hardrive "PS3\SAVEDATA\". Copy and paste the BLES01022EEDIT and BLES01022EOPTION folders into SAVEDATA folder.
5. Connect your external harddrive to ps3 while it in in jailbreak mode and install the package. Copy both BLES01022EEDIT and BLES01022EOPTION to your ps3.
6. Run the game and in the bottom left corner of the screen you will find you have the latest version of PES.
Now you have both english commentary and the latest transfers and formations for all of the different teams out there. You can also download any of the patches out there and make it more realistic.
N.B Like it says in the description, this is only for PES 2011 BLES22, i dont think it will work for BLES20 OR 21. But you can give it a try and tell me how did it go.
