A description of some :

V-Series plugins mimic the sound of vintage analog mixers (apparently , Neve). There are three plug-in: stereo compressor / limiter V-Comp, three-band EQ V-EQ3, quad equalizer V-EQ4. Supported formats include TDM, RTAS, Audiosuite, VST, DirectX, Audio Units, MAS. System requirements : Windows XP, P4 2,8 GHz or AMD Athlon XP, 512 MB RAM; MacOS X 10.4.3, G4 1,25 GHz, 512 MB RAM. New plug-ins are available only as part of a set of Mercury.

Waves has released a new series of plug-ins Waves SSL 4000 , fully imitating sounds of Solid State Logic. As the developers say : " This series of plug-ins - the pride of Waves". For authentic recreation of the classic sound , Waves engineers spent more than a year on the analysis and modeling of the characteristic sound of the factory consoles and components SL 4000, manufactured Solid State Logic.
The series includes three meticulously modeled plug : SSL G-Master Buss Compressor, SSL E-Channel and SSL G-Equalizer. Extensive testing has shown that the sound of Waves plug-ins identical sounding consoles and components produced by Solid State Logic.

Waves API Collection emulates rare analog devices of API (Automated Processes Incorporated). In a series of four plug-in: three-band EQ 550A, quad equalizer 550B, ten- 560 graphic equalizer , stereo compressor 2500 . Each fader has two switches with LED indicator overload indicator off switch . Equalizers have a switch output polarity , used reversible (reciprocal) or symmetrical and proportional to the quality factor of equalization . Supports sample rates up to 96 kHz (API 560 - to 192 kHz). Supported formats include TDM, RTAS, Audiosuite, HTDM, Audio Units, VST.
